itchy fingers

people who take lectures with me will know i have a quirk
i have to play with the pen im holding
i would either spin, twirl or run it through my fingers while listening
if i dun have something to play with, i'll get quite restless

BUT with such small lecture tables and a hand that isnt so deft yet
the pen keeps slipping and rolling off the table
which is just about the most embarrassing thing that can happen
esp if the pen bounces and freefalls down to the row below
and a kind soul needs to rescue it for me
